
In May, were very lucky to have Helen Brady from Heartstart visit, to demonstrate the recovery position. She also explained what to do in an emergency if someone was to fall or become unconscious. These are very important life skills which the children enjoyed learning. They all had a chance to work through the recovery position and took it all very seriously with some great questions at the end.
The Wellbeing Wheel shows the basic requirements for all children and young people to grow and develop and reach their full potential. It fits in well with children's rights.
Children enjoy looking out from the igloo pretending they are in the Arctic. Others have made diorama habitats for penguins or polar bears. They know that penguins live in The Antarctic and polar bears live in The Arctic!
Children enjoy reading and writing in an active way. We bake almost every week.
